Christmas Day Lunch

The residents and staff at Hong Ning were treated to a superb lunch on Christmas Day. They had a simple sweet corn soup as a starter followed by a main course of roast turkey and gammon (donated by Winkin and Denise Leong) roast potatoes, served with vegetable chow mein, green salad and coleslaw.  Dessert was jelly and ice cream.

To top it all off, for tea they were treated to a pineapple and strawberry fresh cream cake generously donated by Elaine and Leung.

Snack packs were also handed out. Many thanks to Nicole and Dario de Gouveia for the beautiful Christmas cookies in these packs.

A very, very, big thank you to Shirlene, Tom, Thabo, Elaine and Leung for making this happen and making it such a special Christmas Day for our residents and staff on duty.
