HONG NING is a registered non-profit organisation [Registration number: 001-234 NPO PBO 930019568] providing care for senior folk.
We were formed in 1976 at a time when no facilities existed in South Africa to provide for the welfare of seniors of Asian descent. In 1994 democracy came to South Africa and momentous changes swept the country. Although we may be living in the new South Africa, the needs from the old South Africa have been carried over. Our old folk still need a caring home in their latter years and Hong Ning continues to be a haven for those requiring an independent living environment as well as frail care facilities.
Today HONG NING cares for between 20 to 25 senior folk at any given time and we continue to make it our mission to provide a loving home for our seniors in their twilight years.
