Cyrildene Business Community donates Solar Lights to Hong Ning.

On 24 February, the Cyrildene Management Committee led by their Chairman, Mr. Chan Sieu Kwong, handed over twenty 100W solar LED lights to the home.

This generous and practical gift was much appreciated at a time when load shedding has become a way of life in South Africa.

The Cyrildene Management Committee is a regular donor to Hong Ning and we truly value their ongoing support.

Many of the lights have already been installed around the property making life more comfortable for our staff and residents.

We have lit up the pathways between the independent living quarters and the dining room/lapa and the toilet areas in the independent quarters. Rechargeable light bulbs have been installed in the toilets making trips easier when load shedding strikes.

The outside areas have been lit up to improve security.
